To provide a high level of administrative support to the Inclusion Support Coordinator (ISC) to support the effective funding and delivery of the Inclusion Support programs. In addition, provide student supervision and support within the Quiet Study program.

We strive for excellence and ensure the holistic development of each student through a balanced approach to faith, academic, sporting and cultural activities.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Primary Objective:</strong></p><p>To provide a high level of administrative support to the Inclusion Support Coordinator (ISC) to support the effective funding and delivery of the Inclusion Support programs. In addition, provide student supervision and support within the Quiet Study program. </p><p> </p><p><strong>School Officer: Inclusion Support Administrator Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Work collaboratively with students, parents / guardians, college staff (including boarding and the health centre) to support the provision of service for the Inclusion Support programs.</li><li>Coordinate the Student Support staff timetable including the daily organisation for staff absences and other school programs. </li><li>Support the ISC to manage the data collection, funding application and request for service process to maximise support for students with inclusive needs.</li><li>Support Teacher and ISC observation of students and provide efficient data entry and storage of evidence. </li><li>Support the ISC with the National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) process. </li><li>Coordinate and support where appropriate the Learning Nest (after school homework centre). </li><li>Communicate as directed with parents / carers of students with inclusive needs to support the Inclusion Support program.</li><li>Any other duties, including supporting students, as directed by the ISC or the Principal.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Quiet Study Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise Quiet Study classes (3 senior lines) creating a high expectations academic environment that is safe, productive and supportive for students to complete academic work to standard and within deadlines.</li><li>Assist students where required to understand set tasks and concepts, and to refine text production. </li><li>Undertake with a high degree of accuracy administration tasks that support Quiet Study classes, including marking the roll.</li><li>Communicating with Staff and Parents / Carers to keep them informed of student application, behaviour and progress.   </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Selection Criteria:</strong></p><p><strong>Essential:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain a current Northern Territory Working with Children Check (Ochre Card).</li><li>A demonstrated understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission. </li><li>Level of ICT literacy to undertake the responsibilities of the position.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.</li><li>Ability to work in accordance with college, system and jurisdiction policy, processes and legislation. </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Highly Desired: </strong></p><ul><li>Relevant qualifications in the area of Inclusive / Special Education such as Certificate IV in School Based Education Support. </li><li>Experience in working with students from an EALD background.</li><li>Experience in working with students from a trauma background.   </li><li>Knowledge and understanding to support the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) process.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding to support the data collection, funding application and request for service process to maximise support for students with additional needs (Catholic Education Northern Territory’s INSPIRE system).</li><li>Experience in rostering / timetabling. </li></ul>
