We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Performing Arts Teacher to inspire students from Foundation to Year 6. The position will entail three days per week (0.6) teaching classes from Foundation through to Year 6 in our vibrant learning community located in Mt. Clear, Ballarat.
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Plan, deliver, and assess an engaging Performing Arts curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.</li><li>Teach a combination of Music, Drama, and Dance to students across all year levels.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to integrate The Arts into the broader school program.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent with a specialisation in Performing Arts, Music, or Drama.</li><li>Current VIT registration</li><li>Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum.</li><li>Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Experience teaching Performing Arts in primary schools is highly desirable.</li><li>A passion for creativity and innovation in education including the use of Apple (IPAD) technology.</li></ul><p>Please see attached documentation for further details.</p>
