<p><strong>St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Blayney</strong><br><strong>Co-educational, years K-6&nbsp;</strong><br><strong>Multiple Temporary, Part time Positions Available</strong><br><strong>Commencing: Term 1 2025 until the end of Term 2 2025</strong></p><p><br><strong>About the Role</strong><br>St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School has an exciting opportunity for Teacher’s Aide to join the team on a temporary basis in 2025. These roles will be part-time, with hours that may vary slightly depending on students' needs.</p><p>The Teacher’s Aide will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality instruction to students in a Catholic School setting. The role will involve:</p><ul><li>Providing in-class support for teachers and their EAL/D students with learning needs</li><li>Supporting and supervising students with additional learning needs in and out of the classroom environment</li><li>Facilitating the remedial reading program (MacqLit)</li><li>Assisting with data collection and maintenance for legislative compliance (NCCD)</li><li>Administrative tasks in support of NCCD and disability provisions</li><li>Input into the planning and implementation of Personal Learning Plans</li><li>Collaborating with classroom teachers to ensure the inclusion of all EAL/D students in all learning experiences</li><li>Applying appropriate behaviour management strategies that contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive learning environment</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong><br>We are looking for someone who is able to address the following selection criteria:</p><ul><li>The desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation</li><li>Experience and effectiveness as a Learning Support Officer, School Support Officer, Teacher’s Aide or equivalent</li><li>A capacity to work collegially and collaborate within a diverse team.</li><li>sound communication and organisational skills, punctuality and adaptability.</li><li>Sound personal skills that include patience, understanding and perseverance</li><li>characteristics that provide a positive role model to students at the College both in their professional and personal life.</li><li>Hold Certificate III in School Based Education Support or above, or be working towards a tertiary degree in education (completed, completing or enrolled), Cert III in childs services OR early childhood education and care</li></ul><p><br><strong>About Our Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Support the teaching staff in a reputable school</li><li>Enjoy a work-life balance in a permanent role with school holidays off</li><li>Be a part of the wider Catholic Education system which will support your career aspirations and give you the tools to flourish</li><li>Perfect opportunity for some who is aspiring to join the education system</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About Us</strong><br>Responsible for 33 schools, approximately 9,600 students and 1,700 staff, Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst (CEDB) is encompassed by the Blue Mountains, Warrumbungle Ranges, the Pilliga, Macquarie River, Lachlan River, Abercrombie River and the Jenolan State Forest.
