Base salary ranges from $71,578 to $78,175. Salary calculated on averaged conditions (generally only required to work during school term time)</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>As a School Support Officer (Level 4), you will be an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate St Patrick's College Sutherland's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community.<br><br>Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:<br> </p><ul><li>communications and marketing<ul><li>managing communications and calendar events for the school community, including College Newsletter and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)</li><li>develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote the College</li><li>create engaging, shareable content, including posts, graphics and videos</li></ul></li><li>event coordination<ul><li>organise and manage College events, including award ceremonies</li></ul></li><li>stakeholder engagement<ul><li>Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.</li></ul></li><li>student support and safety<ul><li>maintain student medical plans and manage first aid supplies</li></ul></li><li>administrative support<ul><li>provide high-level administrative assistance to the Executive team and teaching staff</li><li>support strategic planning initiatives and support a busy Student Desk and Reception area.</li></ul></li></ul><p><br>To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate:</p><ul><li>strong communication skills and ability to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff when required</li><li>excellent organisational skills including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines</li><li>experience working in administration</li><li>a strong sense of visual creativity and design</li><li>ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</li><li>ability to identify necessary resources and requirements for successful outcomes</li><li>intermediate/advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office, Google suite, Canva) and the ability to learn new systems</li><li>interpersonal skills in working with a range of people</li><li>ability to adapt to changing school requirements and needs</li><li>excellent written and oral communication</li><li>accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required</li><li>a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li><li>a willingness to perform other duties as directed by the Principal.</li></ul><p><strong>You will have attained:</strong></p><ul><li>a Certificate III/ IV (TAFE NSW) or proven minimum 3 years experience in a similar administrative role</li><li>current First Aid qualifications, or willingness to obtain.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
