We are seeking a passionate and organised individual to join our Sport Department as Sports Coordinator & Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Coordinator. • Permanent Full-Time Position • Commencing Term 1, 2025

This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the administration and delivery of both junior school sport programs and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The role includes working on Saturdays to support weekend sports and related activities, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging experience for all students.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>Sports Coordinator Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Assist the Director of Sport with planning and delivering a broad range of sport programs across the school</li><li>Organise, promote, and manage Junior School Sport programs, including casual sport coach management, administration, and competition logistics</li><li>Coordinate House Sport carnivals and other sporting events</li><li>Provide administrative support for all school sports-related activities</li><li>Ensure the smooth operation of all sport initiatives, including weekend sports events and competitions</li></ul><p>Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Coordinator Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Oversee the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award program, including the coordination of adventurous journeys through external providers, and related activities</li><li>Liaise with students, parents, staff and external providers to ensure the successful implementation of the Award</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and manage health and safety requirements for all Award-related activities</li></ul><p>Key Skills and Experience:</p><ul><li>Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills</li><li>Experience in managing or coordinating sports programs and/or cocurricular activities</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and external providers</li><li>Familiarity with safety protocols, risk assessments, and compliance standards</li><li>Passion for fostering student growth and well-being through sport and adventure</li><li>Flexibility to work on Saturdays as part of the full-time role</li></ul><p><strong>To Apply:</strong></p><p>Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume.</p><p>Ravenswood School for Girls is dedicated to maintaining a child safe environment and is committed to the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children. </p><p>Shortlisted applicants will be required to provide the School with their Working With Children Check number in order to be eligible for this position.</p><p>It is not a requirement of employment to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
