This is why we have taken the initiative to get ahead of the market and offer the following unique benefits to our staff:</p><ul><li><strong>Higher pay:</strong> We have recently finalised our CSBB Enterprise Agreement which guarantees your pay will be at least 1.5% above the NSW Department of Education.</li><li><strong>More time:</strong> We provide every primary and secondary classroom teacher with collaborative planning time (CPT), in addition to the usual release from face-to-face</li><li><strong>Staff Voice:</strong> Our Enterprise Agreement reflects our deep commitment to having systems in place which give our frontline staff a genuine voice in their work</li><li><strong>Staff School Fee Discounts:</strong> Eligible staff receive a 25% discount on their children’s school fees at our schools, pro-rated to their FTE</li><li><strong>Well Being:</strong> We provide a robust wellbeing program to ensure our staff thrive and grow.</li></ul><p><strong>Specific Criteria</strong></p><p>• Collaborates with teachers to provide classroom support to students with diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities and special social and emotional requirements<br />• Assists in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for students, ensuring that instructional and support strategies are tailored to each student&#39;s needs<br />• Creates, modifies and adapts classroom materials, work, and resources to meet the specific needs of students with learning differences<br />• Provides one-on-one or small-group support to students who require additional assistance in specific subjects or skill areas<br />• Offers social and emotional learning support, as well as behavioural support to students; helping them develop appropriate lagging skills and problem solve concerning behaviours<br />• Administering assessments and assisting in input of student data as well as monitoring and tracking progress as required, identifying and addressing areas of achievement, areas of improvement, and challenges<br />• Maintaining open and regular communication with teachers, learner diversity teachers, and other support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to each students&#39; education<br />• Contributes to creating an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment that promotes diversity and celebrates the unique strengths and talents of all<br />• Assists in managing and de-escalating situations that may arise with students experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties<br />• Capacity to set personal learning goals and strive to continuously develop oneself professionally</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>• Experience working with students with disabilities or diverse learning needs (this role is working with a specific student with identified needs) <br />• Knowledge of learner diversity practices and strategies.<br />• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br />• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students&#39; educational and emotional growth<br />• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, educational staff, and parents</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>• High school diploma or equivalent (further study in related field preferred)<br />• First aid and CPR certification (may be required depending on location) • A current Working with Children Check<br /> </p><p><strong>About us, our Vision and our Towards 2025 Strategy</strong><br /><br />Our Vision is to provide <i>&#39;authentic, professional Catholic education, delivered with care and compassion&#39;</i>.
