A challenging, rewarding and varied role making a difference in the lives of children. Develop your knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes and specialist education approaches. You will work closely in a team with other professionals to develop and deliver quality learning programs. This will be a continuing role for 2024, hours may be adjusted.</p><p><strong>Specific Criteria </strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work with children with diverse learning needs as well as other students within in the classroom.</li><li>Display a patient, compassionate and caring nature.</li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team - such as teachers, parents, external providers.</li><li>Ability to be flexible and adaptable to assist the teacher and their students throughout the learning sessions.</li><li>Training will be provided to assist the successful applicant work with this specific child and the other members of the class.</li><li>Work 1:1 with a student with diverse learning, behavioural and physical needs</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to student well-being and child safety</li><li>A current Working with Children Check</li></ul><p><strong>About us, our Vision and our Towards 2025 Strategy</strong></p><p>Our Vision is to provide 'authentic, professional Catholic education, delivered with care and compassion'.
