Base salary ranges from $91,413 to $135,977. </li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>Brigidine College is seeking to employ an experienced Secondary teacher (Coordinator 2), educator and leader with a background in Years 7 – 12 TAS and VET education. The right candidate will be able to gather, inspire and lead others, and have an expert understanding of 21st century learning and teaching. The best candidate will work with staff towards the improvement and innovation of the TAS/VET Teaching and Learning Programs.</p><p>To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p><ul><li>Commitment to Catholic Education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students</li><li>Commitment to academic excellence</li><li>A well-informed understanding of contemporary learning and teaching practices, research and pedagogy</li><li>Evidence of leadership of educational innovation and development of curriculum and assessment</li><li>An understanding of the importance of, and future initiatives for, building and leading effective teams within the department/stages</li><li>Capability of empowering students to be independent and creative learners</li><li>Ability to facilitate dynamic and collaborative learning experiences</li><li>Demonstrated good team leadership skills: including approachability; listening skills; conflict resolution; exercising sound judgement; and showing initiative</li><li>Strong organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise tasks, meet prescribed deadlines and concurrently manage a number of competing tasks</li><li>Sound knowledge and understanding of WHS policies and procedures related to coordinating a TAS/VET department</li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and oral).</li></ul><p>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>Minimum one year full time teaching experience</li><li>a Tertiary qualification in Education </li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong></p><p>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
