Saint Yon Trade Training Centre, incorporated within the College, is a high quality training facility offering specialised vocational training to senior students.<br><br>Teaching/training staff assist the Principal and the Head of Trade Training in meeting the educational, workplace training and pastoral needs and requirements of students. The role is focused on delivering high quality, personalised student learning experiences via both face to face and /or online learning. As a suitably qualified Trainer, you will be a dynamic educator, keen to engage and inspire our students and deliver a curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles.</p><p><strong>We are looking for casual Trade Trainers across a range of subjects for our trade training centre; Plumbing, Electrotechnology, Automotive, Construction, Human Services and Fitness.</strong></p><p>To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate:</p><ul><li>the ability to support high quality training specific to the qualification</li><li>the ability to support and supervise a group of vocationally focused students</li><li>effective coaching skills</li><li>sound written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>a commitment to quality education and training and to sharing your industry knowledge with your students</li><li>the ability to work as part of a team of trainer educators</li><li>a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members</li><li>your experience in training and mentoring young people in an employment or educational environment (desirable).</li></ul><p>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>relevant industry qualifications</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong></p><p>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
