The Diverse Learning Teacher works closely with the classroom teacher and is supported by the Diverse Learning team.<br><br><strong>Position Highlights</strong><br><br>The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.<br><br>This part-time role is scheduled to commence on Friday, 31 January 2025. Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $122,100</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>As a <strong>Diverse Learning Teacher (0.6 FTE)</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br><br>To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p><ul><li>support for the mission of and commitment to the ethos of Catholic schools</li><li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences</li><li>work with students with diverse learning needs (an advantage)</li><li>use the PP Tool and write PLPs for students with diverse learning needs</li><li>demonstrate expertise in liaising with parents, carers, external agencies and other allied health professionals</li><li>work collaboratively with classroom teachers to build their capacity in the area of differentiation for students with diverse learning needs</li><li>demonstrate exemplary classroom practice in differentiating learning for students with diverse learning needs</li><li>work effectively in a team environment with teaching and support staff</li><li>demonstrate highly effective organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage workload.</li></ul><p>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"><u>Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</u></a>.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
