You are committed to continual professional development and reflection, and have a genuine interest in the growth of young people.</p><p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p><ul><li>Tertiary qualifications in primary education</li><li>NESA accreditation to teach in New South Wales</li><li>A minimum of five years’ teaching experience in a primary school context</li><li>A proven passion for the arts demonstrated through teaching experience in a primary school context</li><li>Demonstrated experience in a primary school context of constructing differentiated teaching and learning programs for diverse learners</li><li>Experience teaching the IB Primary Years Programme, and in effective integration of ICT to deliver meaningful pedagogy</li><li>Sound knowledge and understanding of the NSW Curriculum and current teaching and learning theory and practice</li><li>Highly organised, detail-focused, resourceful and with the ability to work under pressure, in order to meet deadlines</li><li>Able to communicate and collaborate with people at all levels, with diverse backgrounds and a wide range of age groups</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in using evidence-based practices to effectively inform teaching practice</li><li>A level of mobility that supports the ability to respond to a first aid / behavioural incident</li><li>Current First Aid and CPR qualifications </li><li>A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children </li><li>A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when engaging with children.</li></ul><p><strong>CLOSING DATE: 5 January 2025</strong></p><p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong></p><p>Applications should include a resume and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria and reasons for your interest in the position.
