Wollemi College is currently seeking to engage a permanent part-time Secondary Visual Arts Teacher to commence in Term 1, 2025. The part time load is negotiable between 0.4 -0.8 for the right candidate.

<p>Wollemi College is an independent boys&#39; school teaching the Catholic faith, situated on 10 hectares in Werrington, in Sydney&#39;s west. The College was founded in 1999 by the PARED Foundation on the principle that parents are the primary educators and that schools exist to offer parents every support. This support is found in the quality of the academic curriculum, the College’s unique mentoring system, and an emphasis on character development and virtues.  Learn more at <a href="http://www.wollemi.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.wollemi.nsw.edu.au</a> </p><p>Wollemi College is currently seeking to engage a permanent part-time <strong>Secondary</strong> <strong>Visual Arts Teacher</strong> to commence in Term 1, 2025. The part time load is negotiable between 0.4 -0.8 for the right candidate.  </p><p>To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>Suitable tertiary qualifications, demonstrated ability and experience providing quality teaching of Visual Arts. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to engage students in their learning and to integrate technology into the classroom. </li><li>Capacity to differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of a diverse range of students. </li><li>An understanding of student management strategies which would support the school’s focus on positive behaviour management.</li><li>A meaningful enthusiasm for working in a dynamic and collaborative learning environment.</li><li>A commitment to ongoing evaluation and improvement.</li><li>Organisational and communication skills and the ability to engage positively with all stakeholders including parents, students, and staff.</li><li>Understanding of, and support for the vision, mission, values, and ethos of the school</li></ul><p><br />The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a current NSW Working with Children Check and appropriate NESA accreditation.</p>
