Kindergarten to Year 6 serving the Kiama Parish with an enrolment of approximately 332 pupils.

<p><strong>Location:</strong> Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Parish Primary School, Kiama</p><p>A temporary part time position (working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons) commencing 31 January 2025 until 19 December 2025.</p><p>The role of Visual Arts&nbsp;Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.</p><p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p><ul><li>Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li><li>Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.</li><li>Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning of Visual Arts.</li><li>Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.</li><li>Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.</li><li>Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.</li></ul><p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA</p><ul><li>Experience in delivering Visual Arts lessons to students from K-6.</li></ul><p>The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:</p><ul><li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li><li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Strong organisational skills.</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.</li><li>The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.</li></ul><p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p><p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.&nbsp;</p><p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p><p>Applicants are to complete an online application which asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2-3 pages) and submit a short CV (2-3 pages).</p><p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.</p><p><strong>Closing date: 20 December 2024 at 5pm</strong></p>
