Lakeside College seeks a 0.625FTE student support officer. This role would be worked over a 4 day work week during school terms.

<p>Lakeside College seeks a 0.625FTE student support officer / teacher aide commencing immediately. This role would be worked over a 4 day work week during school terms from 8.40am to 3.00pm each day.</p><p>Applicants must submit a resume demonstrating the following key selection criteria:</p><ul><li>An active Christian faith and a willingness to uphold the ethos of the Lutheran Church of Australia</li><li>A high level of experience working with Primary age students with diverse learning needs</li><li>Experience working with students with challenging behaviours as well as social and emotional needs</li><li>High level of understanding of diagnosed learning disabilities and relevant intervention strategies (including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder)</li><li>Experience in implementing and authoring behaviour plans, individual education plans and student support plans</li><li>Have excellent organisational, communication and information technology skills</li><li>Relevant qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Education Support or currently in training)</li><li>A current working with children’s check or ability to gain one</li></ul><p>Applications will be considered on a rolling basis so applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.</p><p><strong>Application process</strong></p><p>Please forward a resume of no more than 3 pages including details of 3 referees, including one who must attest to the applicant’s faith and/or ability to support the Christian ethos of the school.
