<p dir="ltr">This <strong>f</strong><strong>ull-time, permanent</strong> role is scheduled to commence on <strong>Friday, 31 January 2025</strong>. The Strategy, Policy, and Governance Coordinator 3 position is a 3-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years; however, your teaching position will be full-time and permanent.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The Strategy, Policy and Governance Coordinator is a member of the College Leadership Team who assists and supports the Principal in their role as the main leader of the school community. The successful applicant has specific responsibility for a diverse range of administrative tasks that ensure the smooth and professional operation of the College.</p>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>About You</strong><br /> <br />As a <strong>Strategy, Policy and Governance Coordinator 3</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br /> <br />To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p>
<ul>
<li>demonstrate excellent classroom practitioner</li>
<li>commit to Catholic Education with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students</li>
<li>effectively prepare logistics for and organise large-scale/whole school events and Projects</li>
<li>monitor the College's compliance with legal and statutory requirements, e.g. NESA, New Scheme Teachers, Work, Health and Safety</li>
<li>lead stakeholder capacity building (staff, students, broader school community)</li>
<li>show a high level of skill in the use of Compass</li>
<li>have knowledge of the Financial modules within the Ci Anywhere Financial Management System</li>
<li>demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively manage staff, students and parents</li>
<li>demonstrate a high level of organisational skills</li>
<li>be flexible, adaptable and balance demands on time</li>
<li>prepare materials for compliance checks, audits and reports for Sydney Catholic Schools, NESA and CSNSW</li>
<li>develop and manage a planned program of review and maintenance of policies and procedures including the establishment of new policies where needs arise</li>
<li>establish and maintain effective lines of communication and follow-up processes to keep the Executive, colleagues, parents and students appropriately informed</li>
<li>oversee whole school events eg, semester and end of year Award Ceremonies.</li>

<p dir="ltr">Desirable Criteria:<br />In addition to the above essential criteria, the selection of the Strategy, Policy and Governance Coordinator is based on the degree to which applicants can demonstrate their abilities to:</p>

<li>promote the professionalism of staff that enhances the life of the College and contributes to a sense of community</li>
<li>demonstrate sound organisation and administration skills</li>
<li>develop positive relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider community</li>
<li>work independently, as well as in a team environment</li>
<li>facilitate curriculum development to promote students' learning and development</li>
<li>lead school with a focus on continuous improvement.</li>
</ul>
<p dir="ltr">You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li>
<li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</span></a>.</li>
