The successful applicant will work within a supportive team in an outstanding, vibrant school committed to inspiring and developing students’ spiritual, academic, emotional and social potential through our values of &#39;Love, Collaborate, Explore&#39;. </p><p>The successful applicant will:</p><ul><li>Demonstrate an understanding of the IB PYP and the Australian Curriculum, specifically Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.</li><li>Have relevant teaching experience and tertiary qualifications</li><li>Be supportive of the Christian ethos of the School</li><li>Possess the capacity to design, deliver and evaluate STEM lessons for students from Reception - Year 6, integrating the STEM and Digital Technologies curricula with transdisciplinary projects and inquiry-based learning to foster a comprehensive understanding of technology and science. </li><li>Understand and be able to implement contemporary resourcing for robotics and coding in the classroom. </li><li>Demonstrate the capacity to nurture numeracy development in students, having best practice in teaching working mathematically and problem solving techniques, and the capacity to integrate the IB PYP Approaches to Learning would be an advantage</li><li>Be passionate about participating in relevant professional networks and learning to keep the school community connected with broader trends and advancements in STEM and Digital Technologies education. </li><li>Possess a passion for education, children, learning, relationships and teamwork</li><li>Show initiative, flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. </li></ul><p>The successful applicant will also be expected to either hold, or have the capacity to gain, a valid working with children check and teacher registration in South Australia. </p>
