The Instructional Leader position is a 3-point promotional role, temporary for 3 Terms. <p><strong>About You</strong><br /> <br />As an <strong>Instructional Leader</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br /> <br />To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p>
<ul>
<li>create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li>
<li>demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies</li>
<li>utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li>
<li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li>
<li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li>
<li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li>
<li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences</li>
<li>demonstrate exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective contemporary pedagogies</li>
<li>demonstrate an understanding of differentiation</li>
<li>demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff with highly developed interpersonal skills</li>
<li>demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>display an ability to plan and organise workload to achieve objectives</li>
<li>exhibit skills in change and conflict management with peers.</li>
</ul>
<p>You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li>
<li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</span></a>.</li>
