Team Leader - ICT Service Desk

Cranbrook School is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic ICT Service Desk Team Leader to join our ICT team.
<p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong></p><p>This is a full-time position based primarily at the Senior School campus in Bellevue Hill but also working at our Junior School and Pre-School campuses.</p><p>The ICT Service Desk Team Leader will lead a team of Service Desk Officers to provide excellent service delivery and support to staff, students and parents. You have a deep understanding of the user experience and user needs.</p><p>With a positive, solutions focused attitude you are highly organised, thrive in a busy and varied work environment and are able to remain calm under pressure.</p><p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p><ul><li>A minimum of two years leading a Service Desk and experience in managing a small team</li><li>Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or similar preferred</li><li>Industry knowledge and experience in the practical administration of client operating systems and managed software</li><li>Service desk related technical systems administration experience – User accounts, device preparation, user data administration, backup and restore, cloud services (O365, Google, etc)</li><li>Understanding of ITIL, ICT Change Management and ICT best practice principles. ITIL certification desirable but not essential</li><li>A broad technical understanding of hardware, software, applications, networks and communications technologies</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Windows and MacOS desktop, laptop, tablet, mobile devices, AV equipment, MFD’s and a laser printer fleet</li><li>Experience in the practical usage of cloud data services to store, share and consume data</li><li>A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children </li><li>A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when engaging with children. </li></ul><p>Experience in the creation and maintenance of device agnostic, managed and BYOT environments will be highly regarded.</p><p><strong>CLOSING DATE: 8 December 2024</strong></p><p><strong>ABOUT CRANBROOK SCHOOL</strong></p><p>Cranbrook is an Anglican, independent day and boarding school, Pre-school to Year 12. </p><p>Our vision is to be a world class school which encourages and enables all of our students to explore, enjoy and fulfil their potential.
