We are seeking teachers for Junior (Yr.2), Middle (Yr.3 & Yr.4) & Senior classrooms (Yr 6), to commence at the start of the 2025 school year. We welcome applications from experienced and graduate classroom teachers seeking to make a positive impact in the lives of our students by using and growing their skills and knowledge as part of a positive, collaborative learning and teaching team.

Our 2025 Annual Action Plan prioritises professional formation &amp; learning as one of its key strategies in developing a collaborative work environment in which staff feel valued and empowered in what they do.</p><p><strong><u>Position</u></strong></p><p>The successful applicant must:</p><ul><li>be committed to the Catholic ethos of the school and to the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students</li><li>have exemplary learning and teaching skills that engage students in a rich learning environment and a desire to share this knowledge in a professional, collaborative and collegial way with their team</li><li>have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to continue to build strong relationships with students, staff and parents</li><li>enjoy working with students from a diverse range of cultures and have knowledge of EAL best practise</li><li>value and consistently use assessment strategies in the development and implementation of their teaching program. </li><li>be responsive to the MACS’ preferred system-wide approach (Vision for Instruction) to achieving teaching and learning excellence. </li></ul><p><strong><u>Special Requirements</u></strong></p><p>The successful applicant needs to:</p><ul><li>be eager to embrace the Catholic ethos of our school</li><li>be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or agree to achieve this within the next few years</li><li>be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices</li><li>have read and be committed to maintaining Child Safety Standards.</li><li>hold VIT registration</li></ul>
