The successful application will have to ability to promote numeracy, literacy, engaging students in reading.</p><p><strong>Position Highlights</strong></p><p>The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging. This is a dynamic role that overlooks the Learning hub of the College.</p><p>This <strong>full-time</strong> role is scheduled to commence on <strong>Friday, 31 January 2025</strong>. Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $122,100</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>As a <strong>Learning Centre Teacher in Charge</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.</p><p>Flexible hours due to Learning Centre opening times.</p><p>Skill as a Librarian - formal library skills not required.</p><p>To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p><ul><li>create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li><li>organise and lead whole school literacy and numeracy initiatives</li><li>plan community learning initiatives</li><li>organise homework club</li><li>encourage reading across all curriculum areas</li><li>support key learning areas and students with research and resources</li><li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li><li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences</li><li>demonstrate excellent IT siklls.</li></ul><p>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per<a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"> <u>Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</u></a>.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong></p><p>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
