<p>Arndell Anglican College is a vibrant, P-12 Christ-centred learning community, through which Jesus is made known.  The College prides itself on our high-quality pastoral care, academic development, and Christian programs.  For our staff this means that we are driven by a passion to know who we are as a community and to do what we do well.</p><p>Situated on 30 acres between Rouse Hill and Windsor, Arndell caters for a growing population of almost 1300 students – with over 500 in Junior School (Prep to Year 6) and just under 800 in Secondary School (Years 7 to 12).  Students are encouraged to grow in their individual abilities and interests within a learning environment that promotes optimism, respect, and ownership. </p><p><strong>The Invitation</strong></p><p>Arndell Anglican College invites applications for the permanent fulltime position of Junior School Teacher, commencing Term 1 2025. </p><p>Reporting to the Stage Leader and Head of Junior School, the Junior School Teacher will collaborate with the stage teaching team, other teaching staff and teacher aides to encourage students to grow intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.  In particular Junior School Teachers:</p><ul><li>Design interesting and engaging lessons for students with a wide range of learning abilities and styles.</li><li>Deliver high quality content to students that is engaging and accessible.</li><li>Encourage students to explore and express their creativity through different mediums, such as voice, instrumental, composition, ensembles, and bands.</li><li>Provide students with clear and fair assessment, including regular, constructive feedback.</li><li>Work collaboratively with others in implementing new curriculum and improving teaching practice.</li><li>Play an active role in camps, co- and extra-curricular programs.</li></ul><p>A full position description and specific responsibilities for the position is available on the <a href="https://www.arndell.nsw.edu.au/about/employment/" rel="nofollow">College website</a>.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>As a Junior School Teacher, you hold qualifications in Education (Teaching) and are experienced in teaching across all Junior School stages, with the ability to teach Stage 3 highly desired but not essential.</p><p>You are goal oriented, highly organised, passionate about the education of young people, able to engage students who possess a range of interests and abilities, able to work collaboratively across the whole school, and are a person of Christian faith.  With the expertise and enthusiasm to contribute to the Junior School your collaborative style and professionalism will see you build culture and community within a diverse and dynamic environment.</p><p><strong>Our Offer</strong></p><p>At Arndell you will work with supportive leaders and colleagues in an open, collaborative, and respectful environment.  You will be provided with the latest tools and well-resourced teaching spaces within which to work.  You will be able to access ongoing and funded professional development, including attaining and maintaining teacher accreditation levels and support for further education, plus access a variety of wellbeing programs including an onsite gym.</p>
