We are seeking a dedicated Dean of Diverse Learning specialist with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. The role of the Dean of Diverse Learning is focused on supporting students with a diverse range of learning needs to access and participate successfully in their learning.

<p><strong>Dean of Diverse Learning K – 12</strong></p><p><strong>Position to start Term 1 2025</strong></p><p>St Euphemia College is an independent co-educational school from Pre-K to Year 12 in the Greek Orthodox tradition. Established by the Parish of St Euphemia under the auspices of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, the College has become a strong community presence committed to providing a caring, disciplined, and safe environment for all our students. Our values of Truth, Respect, Empathy, and Resilience lie at the core of who we are as a community</p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>We are seeking a dedicated Dean of Diverse Learning specialist with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. The role of the Dean of Diverse Learning is focused on supporting students with a diverse range of learning needs (including students with learning difficulties, identified gifted and talented capabilities, disability and EAL/D needs) to access and participate successfully in their learning. </p><p>Post graduate qualifications in Special Education or Gifted Education preferred.</p><p><strong>Key Criteria</strong></p><p>To excel in this role you will:</p><ul><li>Create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li><li>Commitment to continual improvement and effective use of data to differentiate the curriculum and address the learning needs of all students.</li><li>Demonstrates the standard descriptors at the lead teacher level in accordance with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and manage the Diverse Learning Team K - 12 team, ensuring effective implementation of inclusive education practices throughout the school.</li><li>Experience in developing and implementing learning support programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of students and aligned with school philosophy.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills with teachers and leadership to support diverse learners.</li><li>Experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs and intervention strategies.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards related to inclusive education, ensuring continuous improvement in learning support services.</li><li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li><li>Lead the implementation of a range of support structures for students on learning plans relating to diversity needs, behavioural needs, or medical arrangments.</li><li>Identify and coordinate internal and external stakeholders, support services and agencies to respond to the needs of students.</li><li>Mentor and coach teachers and support staff, to increase the capacity of staff in making adjustments to structures designed to meet the needs of students across their learning.</li><li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.</li></ul><p>You&#39;ll be part of a dynamic teaching community that values innovation and excellence.</p><p><strong>Why St Euphemia College?</strong></p><p>Become part of an exceptionally supportive, growth-driven community that not only prioritises your professional development but also truly cares about your well-being.
