St Columba's School is seeking dynamic and passionate Learning Support Officers to join our growing Learning Diversity Team.

<p><i>St Columba&#39;s School is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.</i></p><p>Positions Available:</p><p><strong>Learning Support Officer - Part Time 0.75 (5 days/week)</strong><br /><strong>Learning Support Officer - Part TIme (2-3 days/week)</strong></p><p>Are you passionate about helping young learners thrive? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Officer to work with some of our Foundation students, providing the individualised attention and encouragement they need to build confidence and social skills in the classroom. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative school community.</p><p><strong>What We Are Looking For:</strong> We seek a patient and adaptable individual with experience in early childhood support, a solid understanding of social-emotional development, and strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with our teaching staff. Formal qualifications in education support are highly regarded.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p><p>- support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education<br />- Interest and experience in working with young people with a range of learning and behavioural needs<br />- An ability to form respectful relationships with students, families and colleagues<br />- a well-developed level of literacy and numeracy<br />- a cooperative nature and enthusiastic approach to working with young people<br />- must be capable of working with children under the supervision of the learning support team and classroom teachers, including in practical subjects as required.<br />- Experience in working collaboratively as part of a team</p><p> </p><p><strong>Desirable Criteria:</strong></p><p>A lived understanding of the Catholic Ethos<br />Appropriate training or qualifications<br />Experience in schools is preferred.
