<p><strong>Domremy Catholic College Five Dock</strong> <br /><strong>Commencement Date:</strong> Friday, 31 January 2025 <br /><strong>Closing Date: </strong>Monday, 25 November 2024 <br /><strong>Capacity: </strong>Part-Time (0.7FTE), Temporary</p> <p dir="ltr">Domremy College is seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Teacher of Diverse Learning for 2025. This is a temporary, 0.7 FTE position. The working schedule will be confirmed with the successful applicant.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the role</strong>:</p> <p dir="ltr">This role has great diversity and challenge involving the provision of education and pastoral care for students from Years 7 to 12 with a wide range of diverse learning needs. The position requires a teacher who has a passion for working collaboratively. As a member of Domremy College, the role requires a commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Presentation tradition.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Key Selection criteria</strong>:</p> <p dir="ltr">The successful applicant will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school</li> <li dir="ltr">be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively</li> <li dir="ltr">collaborate with staff and parents to meet the wellbeing, pastoral and learning needs of students</li> <li dir="ltr">be an active listener with excellent communication, verbal and written skills</li> <li dir="ltr">highly skilled in interpersonal relationships with students, staff and parents</li> <li dir="ltr">use of creative and innovative teaching practice to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity which in turn will meet the needs of all students</li> <li dir="ltr">be able to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning.</li> <li dir="ltr">have highly effective administrative and organisational skills.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">You will have attained:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">a tertiary qualification in Education</li> <li dir="ltr">eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li> <li dir="ltr">Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per<a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</span></a>.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Application Process</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
