An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Maintenance Officer to join the Willunga Waldorf School at the earliest opportunity.

<p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p><p>This is a hands-on role that carries out the repair and maintenance requirements of the School’s facilities, including buildings, furniture, and fittings. The role reports directly to the Property Services Manager and, as part of the Buildings and Grounds Team, works to ensure the School is a safe and well-presented place.</p><p><i>Please see the full position description for more details.</i></p><p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p><p>The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and motivated all-rounder, who is able to work collaboratively and independently in a team environment. You are physically fit, take pride in your work and can recognize and troubleshoot issues before they become a problem. Excellent communication and organisational skills are a must, as is a commitment to the confidentiality, safety, and privacy requirements of a school environment.</p><p><strong>KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent all-round maintenance / handyman skills</li><li>Proven experience in facilities management, repair, or similar technical field</li><li>Strong understanding of preventative maintenance</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively</li><li>Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills</li><li>Must have full working rights in Australia</li></ul><p>Applicants must have at least 3-5 years of experience of hands-on experience in a maintenance or facilities management role and be willing to obtain a SA Working with Children Check, Mandatory Notification (RRHAN-EC) and First Aid training.</p><p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER</strong></p><p>Willunga Waldorf School offers an exciting, supportive, and rewarding environment to work.
