<p>An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and compassionate educator to join our beautiful community at Corpus Christi School Kingsville (West Footscray), as our Learning Diversity Leader.</p><p>This is a part-time position (2-3 days/week) with flexible working hours. The position currently attracts a POL 2.</p><p>Ideally, the successful applicant will be accredited to teach in a Catholic school and be able to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>A strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic Education </li><li>A thorough understanding and working knowledge of NCCD and associated compliance</li><li>The ability to develop strong home-school partnerships</li><li>The ability to work collaboratively with staff to support students in accessing learning through planned adjustments and/or learning programs</li></ul><p>The successful applicant will be required to:</p><ul><li>Ensure the individual learning needs of students are catered for, and the Personal Learning Plan for students with additional needs are completed and implemented. </li><li>Coordinate and supervise Learning Support Staff and facilitate Learning Diversity Team meetings</li><li>Organise and facilitate Program Support Group (PSG) meetings</li><li>Liaise with allied health professionals and service providers </li><li>Work closely with Regional Student Support Services and facilitate submissions for referral</li><li>Prepare and collate required documentation</li><li>Attend relevant professional learning opportunities</li></ul><p>Corpus Christi is an integral part of the faith community of Kingsville.
