The REC has the delegated responsibility for the leadership, coordination and supervision of learning and teaching in Religious Education. In sharing the leadership of Catholic Life, Education and Mission, the REC is required to have a well-developed capacity to take forward the evangelising mission of Catholic schools within the Diocese of Wagga Wagga.</p><p>The role description is attached.</p><p><strong>What We Can Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Temporary Religious Education Coordinator and Full-time Permanent Teaching position </li><li>Role to commencing on 27 January 2025.</li><li>Discounted Bupa Health insurance!</li><li>Salary Packaging through Maxxia!</li><li>Access to our Employee Assistance Program through THRIVE Psychology.</li><li>Salary determined by NESA Accreditation and Teaching Service + Coordinator 1 Allowance ($9494 per year)</li><li>Relocation Allowance (Up to a maximum of $5,000)</li><li>Retention Bonus Scheme - $5,000 per annum for the first four years of employment</li></ul><p>*Please note, that Coordinator appointments are 3 years full time contract with the option of an additional 3 years subject to ongoing successful Performance Reviews.</p><p><strong>Essential Criteria </strong></p><ul><li>Postgraduate academic qualifications additional to initial teacher training.</li><li>Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School <a href="https://sites-us.lumapps.com/a/cedww/intranet/evangelisation-religious-education/work-teach-lead" rel="nofollow">(Category E, Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga)</a> or working towards Accreditation.</li><li><a href="https://www.nsw.gov.au/education-and-training/nesa/teacher-accreditation" rel="nofollow">NESA Accreditation</a> at Proficient Status or beyond.</li><li>Current Drivers Licence.</li><li>Current Working With Children Check.</li><li>Successful candidate to undertake National Criminal History Check</li><li>Three (3) referees, one of which must be your current employer and your current Parish Priest.
