This exciting opportunity is perfect for an individual who thrives in a dynamic and rewarding educational environment.</p><p><strong>Finance Officer&nbsp;</strong><br><strong>Limited Tenure: Parental Leave&nbsp;</strong><br><strong>Part-time: 35.72 hours per week</strong><br><strong>Commencing: December 2024 (Negotiable) – 26th September 2025</strong></p><p>As a Finance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the school's financial operations.<br>This part-time position will assist the Principal with the financial management of the school and be required to demonstrate:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Effectiveness in financial and accounting functions (including accounts payable, accounts receivable and end of month procedures)</li><li>Experience in preparing and analysis of budget and monthly financial reports</li><li>Ability to follow specified policies, procedures and internal control and audit processes</li><li>Experience in maintaining personnel records and payroll system for staff</li><li>Proficiency in the use of computerised processing and commercial finance systems</li><li>Strong time management and organisational abilities in an office environment</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively within a wider team environment</li><li>Commitment to personal and team effectiveness&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.</p><p>Catholic Education Tasmania is committed to supporting the rights of children and young people and providing a safe and supportive environment for them.
