<p>We are seeking to employ a highly caring, giving, dedicated and skilled Learning Support Officer to join our school community.</p><p>The position is a 5 days a week position with working hours of 9.10am to 3.10pm. for the entire 2025 school year.  This position is a contract position for the first 12 months and may lead to an ongoing position in the fuure.  This is subject to ongoing NCCD funding.</p><p>Applicants need to have a keen interest in supporting and working with special needs students and a particular love of bridging the gap for these students.<br /> </p><p>The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their ability to work as a collaborative team member with our Student Wellbeing Leader, classroom teachers, specialist teachers and other LSOs in our school community .</p><p>Applicants for this position should demonstrate:</p><p>* a commitment to Catholic Education and the wellbeing and safety of students</p><p>* a commitment to the Child Safe policy of the school</p><p>* the ability to work closely with others .</p><p>The successful applicant will:</p><p>* take direction from and report to the Student Wellbeing Leader and classroom teachers to implement a students&#39; Personal Learning Plan</p><p>* assist students either individually or in a group</p><p>* provide physical, social and emotional care for students</p><p>* liaise regularly with teaching staff with regard to student needs</p><p>* be flexible in dealing with the changing, challenging and diverse needs of individual special needs students</p><p>* have a current Working with Children Check</p><p>* have a Certificate IV in Education Support</p><p>Applications should include the details of 3 professional referees who will attest to the wonderful attributes you will bring to SFX school.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
