The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning. </p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast, Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 45 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><br /><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Catholic Schools Broken Bay is currently seeking an efficient and organised <strong>VET Administrator</strong> on a <strong>12 month</strong> <strong>temporary, full-time</strong> basis, for an immediate start based at our head office in <strong>Pennant Hills.</strong> </p><p>This role provides administrative support for the Pathways &amp; Partnerships team, focusing on Vocational Education and Training (VET) services within the Student Achievement workstream. This essential position ensures compliance with VET regulations and provides logistical support for student pathways into vocational education, whilst handling sensitive and confidential information and liaising with a broad range of internal &amp; external stakeholders. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide administrative support to the VET RTO Manager and Pathways &amp; Partnerships team</li><li>Assist in ensuring VET compliance requirements are met, including managing documentation &amp; preparing documentation as required </li><li>Serve as key point of contact for schools and external VET providers, assisting with queries </li><li>Organise and coordinate meetings, taking minutes &amp; handling logistical details </li><li>Manage &amp; maintain databases, ensuring accurate record-keeping related to VET participation &amp; course completions </li><li>Assist with administration of student work placements, apprenticeships &amp; traineeships </li><li>Ensure VET related materials &amp; resources are available &amp; accessible for schools</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Specific Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Significant administrative experience specifically within an educational or VET/RTO context  </li><li>Experience in handling compliance &amp; regulatory processes</li><li>Cert IV in Training &amp; Assessment (desirable) or equivalent relevant experience </li><li>Holds a valid WWCC or willingness to obtain</li><li>Strong interpersonal &amp; written communication skills, with a friendly demeanour </li><li>Ability to multi-task with a solutions focused mindset </li><li>Have a high level of attention to detail </li><li>Experience in organising and coordinating small &amp; large scale meetings </li><li>Able to adapt &amp; respond to change with the ability to work under pressure and re-prioritise as necessary </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits of Working with Us</strong> </p><ul><li>Competitive salary on offer (circa 88K &#43; super)</li><li>Free onsite parking or public transport close by </li><li>25% School Fee Discount for eligible employees </li><li>Annual leave loading and ex-gratia leave at Christmas time </li><li>Work from home 1 day a week </li><li>Salary Packaging for eligible employees </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Application Process</strong> </p><p>Applications should include: </p><ul><li>A cover letter of no more than two pages addressing why you are interested in the role and addressing the criteria listed above </li><li>A current resume </li></ul><p>Applications &amp; enquiries should be <strong>sent directly</strong> to <strong>Brigette Strain </strong>at <a href="mailto:brigette.strain&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">brigette.strain&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au</a></p><p><strong>Closing Date: COB, 26 November 2024 </strong></p><p> </p><p><i><strong>Agencies, please note that unsolicited resumes for this position will not be considered.</strong></i><strong> </strong></p><p><i>Catholic Schools Broken Bay promotes a culture of safety and care for children and young people.
