<p><strong>Location:</strong> St Benedict's Catholic College, Oran Park</p><p>A unique opportunity is being offered to a suitably qualified teacher to be part of a program in the systemic Catholic schools of the Diocese with a fixed term, full time and part time contract of employment for the 2025 school year. The successful applicant will be a flexible classroom practitioner with some proven success as a&nbsp;casual&nbsp;teacher.&nbsp; This employment opportunity is aimed at providing both the students and the successful applicant with continuity and alignment with the particular educational direction of one school over a block of time while providing a ready supply of&nbsp;casual&nbsp;relief.</p><p>The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.</p><p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p><ul><li>Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li><li>Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.</li><li>Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.</li><li>Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in KLA(s).</li><li>Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.</li><li>Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).</li><li>Level B Accreditation in accordance with <strong>To Work, Teach and Lead policy</strong> or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.</li></ul><p>GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p><ul><li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li><li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Well-developed organisational skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to meet deadline.</li></ul><p>CONDITIONS</p><ul><li>The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.</li><li>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</li><li>The applicant must have undertaken a minimum of 40 days casual employment in a Catholic School(s).</li></ul><p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p><p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.</p><p><strong>Closing date: 20 November 2024 at 5pm</strong></p>
