This role will work collaboratively with RE members, other KLA department leaders, and across all year groups, undertaking responsibilities within the team as required by the Dean of Learning.</p><p>Applicants for this position must be experienced leaders, excellent classroom practitioners, dedicated team players interested in the care and welfare of students, and skilled in teaching RE to contribute to the College’s educational program in teaching and learning. They will also need to be skilled in using educational technology in the classroom. All staff members are expected to support the vision and goals of the college as a learning community and contribute to all aspects of college life.</p><p>To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:</p><ul><li>Completed, or has evidence of, study toward a Graduate Diploma or Master of Religious Education, Theology, or Theological Studies from an approved institution.</li><li>Proven leadership experience focusing on rigorous student learning, engagement, and growth.</li><li>Ability to teach RE up to stage 6.</li><li>Ability and experience to teach all Stage 6 courses (SOR 2, 1, and Catholic Thought).</li><li>Able to lead Religious Education in all curriculum development, implementation, and differentiation aspects.</li><li>A strong, contemporary learning leader with the capacity to lead change and demonstrate contemporary pedagogy that focuses on improving student learning.</li><li>Able to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders and build relationships.</li><li>Baptised Catholic with demonstrated evidence of ongoing commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church and engagement in the life of a Catholic faith community, such as a parish or an established community within the Catholic Church, as an expression of your relationship with Jesus Christ.</li><li>A commitment to academic excellence and demonstrated knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices that encourage academic excellence.</li><li>Commitment to continual improvement and effective use of data to differentiate the curriculum and address the learning needs of all students.</li><li>Demonstrates the standard descriptors at the lead teacher level in accordance with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.</li><li>Ability to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning.</li><li>Interpersonal skills with parents, students, and staff.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team and with the Ministry Team.</li><li>Supporting the College Pastoral Program, including being responsible for a Home Room and PACE program.</li><li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check.</li><li>A commitment to the child safeguarding principles.</li><li>Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The Process</strong></p><p>If you believe you meet this position's requirements, please click the <strong>Apply</strong> button to submit your online application to the Principal of Rosebank College.</p><p>When you complete the <i><strong>online application</strong></i>, you will need to provide:</p><ul><li>A copy of your CV;</li><li>A cover letter;</li><li>Upload copies of formal teaching qualifications, including copies of transcripts;</li><li>Provide details of your Current NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW.</li></ul><p>Candidates who progress through our recruitment process will be required to provide at least two (2) referees, including their current employer.</p><p>Early applications are encouraged to assist the interview process.
