<p> </p><p>Applications are invited for this full-time, ongoing position as a Classroom Teacher, which will commence on 28 January 2025.</p><p>The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the safety and wellbeing of children.  A Child Safety Code of Conduct is attached.</p><p>The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.</p><p>The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified and demonstrate enthusiasm and skills to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities. We are looking for a teacher who can provide care and support for students while supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment.</p><p>The key selection criteria are as follows:</p><ul><li>A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education.</li><li>An ability to create and maintain a child-safe environment in which students feel safe.</li><li>An ability to build positive relationships with all students and positive partnerships to engage families and the community.</li><li>Strategies to cater effectively for a range of students’ learning needs and adjustments to differentiate learning tasks.</li><li>A strong vision for effective literacy and numeracy teaching, using MACS&#39; 2030 Vision for Instruction.</li><li>Purposeful use of Digital Technologies that enhance student engagement and learning.</li><li>Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.</li></ul><p>Special Requirements</p><ol><li>As part of the application, please complete the attached <u>St Paul&#39;s Application for Employment</u> document. </li><li>VIT registration is essential.</li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education, or a commitment to undertake it.</li><li>Please include three professional referees, including your past principals, with contact details and mobile phone numbers.</li></ol>
