Since 2014, we provide holistic, personalised education and wellbeing support for young people seeking an alternative.</p><p>Among other qualities you should be able to demonstrate:<br />•    Ability to motivate, excite and inspire young people, including young people with individual needs<br />•    Capacity and willingness to program and teach across a range of stage 5 and 6 subjects<br />•    A broad understanding of the development, learning styles and educational needs of students in Years 9-12 from a wide range of backgrounds<br />•    Genuine best practice in quality learning, and teaching and classroom management <br />•    Be a positive team player with a high level of flexibility and creativity<br />•    Demonstrated knowledge and acceptance of the nature of youth culture, with the willingness to develop strong relationships with students, parents and the community</p><p>Graduates and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. </p><p><strong>More about NG Central School:</strong></p><p>We are an accredited non-government, special assistance school for students in Years 9 - 12. We are co-educational and are not politically or religiously affiliated.</p><p>NGC believes that every young person deserves a purposeful future, and that school should be a pathway to achieving this. But with more than a decade of supporting vulnerable students under our belts, we know that not everyone thrives in traditional, mainstream settings.</p><p>Our school offers a genuine alternative for young people who have complex academic, behavioural, neuro-developmental and/or welfare needs.
