Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $122,100</li><li>an additional coordinator allowance on top of your base salary</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>As the <strong>Leader of Sport</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br><br>The Leader of Sport works in collaboration with the College Leadership Team, Sydney Catholic Schools and external sporting groups to offer diverse and inclusive sporting opportunities for students to develop their interests and skills through weekly sport. The Leader of Sport is supported by an Assistant Leader of Sport (1 point).<br><br>To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p><ul><li>create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li><li>demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach PDHPE including current Stage 6 experience</li><li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li><li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li><li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li><li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences</li><li>promote active, enjoyable participation in a variety of recreational and competitive sports</li><li>demonstrate management and administrative skills to ensure weekly sport, whole school events and pathway programs operate effectively and efficiently</li><li>implement school and system policies and procedures to minimise risk and ensure a strong safety culture. This includes compliance with the Department of Education's Sport &amp; Physical Activity Safety Guidelines</li><li>demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff.</li></ul><p>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"><u>Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</u></a>.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application in pdf format.
