<p>Applications are sought for the full-time position of Assistant Head of Campus - Learning & Pedagogy (Year 10-12 Campus) to commence in 2025. This a POL 4 position for 2025 - 2026 with an ongoing full-time teaching position.</p><p><strong>Padua College</strong> provides a contemporary Catholic secondary co-education for young people within the regions of the Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Bay. They provide leadership in curriculum development and support a learning environment that enables staff and students to strive for growth and personal excellence in recognising and utilising their God-given talents. </p><p>Effective leadership of learning and teaching explicitly connects high quality teaching to student engagement, successful learning, and positive student outcomes. At Padua, the Assistant Head of Campus - Learning & Pedagogy will work in partnership with the Instructional Coaches and the Director of Innovation to guide and support staff across the Campus to ensure that every student’s learning positions them for success. The position is focused on leadership of curriculum and program development, evaluation, and refinement. The AHOC – LaP works with the Director of innovation to lead innovation in learning and curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation. </p><p>The AHoC - LAP is a key member of the Learning and Teaching Team under the direction of the Vice Principal - Learning and Teaching and reports directly to the Head of Campus. </p><p><strong>MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY</strong></p><p>The AHoC - LAP’s major areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:</p><ol><li>in partnership with the Instructional Coaches, the AHoC LaP assumes a lead role in building capacity and cultivating the learning culture on Campus by modelling and embedding the principles of the College’s Learning and Teaching Framework;</li><li>overseeing the Year 10-12 Campus learning and teaching program to ensure each student’s learning is challenging, authentic, engaging, and continuous and each student's pathway positions them for success;</li><li>leading a learning environment where programs are future-focused on theory, practice, and design;</li><li>managing the Year 10-12 Campus subject selection, student orientation and internal and external examination procedures efficiently and precisely; </li><li>managing and administering the learning and teaching program on the Year 10-12 Campus and contributing to the learning and teaching program of the College as a whole; and</li><li>performing other day-to-day duties and implementing decisions as requested by the Principal or the College Improvement Team.</li></ol><p>Teachers are supported by the Learning Leaders, the Assistant Heads of Campus (Learning and Pedagogy), Deputy Principals/Directors of Campus (Heads of Campus), and the Vice Principal (Learning and Teaching) across the College in the development, implementation, and teaching of the curriculum. </p><p>They are also supported by the House Coordinators, Assistant Heads of Campus (Student Wellbeing and Growth), the Deputy Principals/Directors of Campus (Heads of Campus) and the Vice Principal – Students, in the pastoral care and discipline of students, as well as the smooth and effective management of classes.</p><p><strong>SALARY REMUNERATION</strong>: According to the CEMEA 2022, $78,021.00 - $115,737.00 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation. </p><p><strong>POL 4: $12,762.00 pa.</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
