<p>An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Christian Chaplain to join our College in a part-time or full-time position at the start of 2025. We are looking for an inspired and highly motivated Chaplain who will promote positive social interaction, character development and student and staff wellbeing.</p><p>Do you feel called to nurture the spiritual growth of students, staff, and the school community? You will be joining a team who really believe in their mission to lead students to think and live for the glory of God in every aspect of their lives.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About the Position</strong></p><p>The Chaplain performs non-teaching duties in a pastoral care capacity and will contribute to the improvement of student and staff wellbeing, connectedness, engagement and providing a safe learning environment. </p><p>Your background should include either a Cert IV or above in Youth Work, or Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care and/or significant experience in a similar role.</p><p>The key objectives of the role:</p><ul><li>Improve student and staff wellbeing, connectedness and engagement.</li><li>Support teachers and the College in identifying and developing programs to support vulnerable or at-risk students.</li><li>Actively engage with parents, caregivers and families about student development and wellbeing.</li><li>Contribute to the development and delivery of policies, processes and programs to support the College’s commitment to child safety.</li></ul><p>This is a part-time or full-time role, starting in January 2025. For part-time, the role would be a contract over 44 weeks of the year - during the school term, plus one week of each school holiday period.</p><p> </p><p><strong>What You Need to Succeed</strong></p><p>Apart from the necessary qualifications, we look for people who are a great cultural fit.
