The College is seeking a creative & contemporary Visual Arts Teacher to facilitate learning for our younger students for a Term I and II contract.
<p><i>Established in 1879, St Aloysius' College is a Catholic, Jesuit day school for boys from Year 3 to Year 12. Situated in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it has an enrolment of over 1300 students.</i></p><p><i>The College is conducted by the Society of Jesus and is part of a worldwide network of Jesuit primary and secondary schools and universities.</i></p><p> </p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p><strong>Visual Arts Teacher (Junior School - Part Time - Term I & II Contract)</strong></p><p>St Aloysius’ College is seeking to appoint an imaginative, creative and innovative Visual Arts Teacher to join the Junior School Campus (Years 3 - 6), covering a period of parental leave for two school Terms commencing Term 1, 2025. </p><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in Visual Arts, and a willingness to integrate innovative pedagogy and contemporary classroom teaching practice that both supports and challenges students. They would also demonstrate the ability to effectively differentiate, catering to students across a wide range of abilities and learning styles.</p><p>Embracing a collaborative approach to teaching and learning, the successful candidate will be passionate and committed to fostering an appreciation for the arts, integrating art expression into the various units of inquiry, and investigating different ideas and interests in all artworks, design and technology.
