This position is 4 days per week commencing Friday, 31 January 2025. Base salary ranges from $68,825 to $75,168</li> <li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li> <li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li> <li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li> <li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li> <li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong><br><br> As a <strong>School Support Officer (Level 4)</strong>, you will be an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate Our Lady of Mercy Catholic College Burraneer's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community.<br><br> To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>strong communication skills and ability to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff when required</li> <li>high level of experience with Compass particularly in creating Events, setting up Parent/Teacher Interviews, School Reports, Attendance</li> <li>experience with desktop publishing</li> <li>excellent organisational skills including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines</li> <li>experience working in a school environment</li> <li>ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</li> <li>advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google suite)</li> <li>interpersonal skills in working with a range of people</li> <li>excellent written and oral communication</li> <li>accuracy and attention to detail</li> <li>proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required</li> <li>a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students.</li> </ul> <p>You will have attained:</p> <ul> <li>a Certificate III/ IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting or equivalent.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br> Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
