This role encompasses both teaching and educational support services, aiming to address individual learning requirements within an innovative, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment. By fostering a love of learning and encouraging each student to strive for excellence, the Learning Diversity Teacher plays a pivotal role in helping every learner reach their fullest potential.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Learning and Teaching/Learning Diversity</strong></p><ul><li>Together with colleagues inspire a passion for life-long and reflective learning where all learners flourish and engage with the deep questions of life</li><li>Embed an innovative, future focused, inclusive curriculum that inspires curious, engaged, confident and independent learners</li><li>Use data and evidence effectively, to foster individual growth and build the capacity of both staff and students</li><li>Motivate students to be aspirational, supported by contemporary teaching practices and effective and timely feedback</li><li>Foster positive community partnership and professional links to enhance student learning and pathway</li><li>Develop and implement inclusive, effective teaching and learning strategies that actively engage students with diverse needs, enhancing their educational outcomes and fostering a supportive learning environment</li><li>Work collaboratively with colleagues to design and deliver high-quality curriculum programs and pedagogical approaches that cater to the full spectrum of student abilities and needs</li><li>Collaborate with the Student Wellbeing Team to ensure a coordinated, multifaceted approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs</li><li>Offer guidance and support to teachers in managing the individual needs of students, ensuring each student receives the necessary assistance for both their learning and wellbeing</li><li>Monitor and review student learning data, liaise with parents/carers as necessary, and provide personalised support and mentoring to individual students where appropriate</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p><strong>Key Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Recognised teaching qualifications with current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)</li><li>A strong knowledge of inclusive educational practices and a thorough understanding of the Victorian Curriculum F-10</li><li>Experience in developing and implementing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)</li><li>A sound understanding of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) framework</li><li>Ability to implement effective teaching and learning strategies to cater for different learning styles and abilities</li><li>Excellent ICT skills and ability to effectively use ICT to enhance learning</li><li>Demonstrated ability to establish positive and effective working relationships with staff and students</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and an understanding of the importance of charism and spiritual tradition in the life of an order-owned Catholic School</li><li>A commitment to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>This position is full time, ongoing.
