The Head of ICT & Data Informed Practice provides leadership to the ICT Technical team and across the College for staff members and students in the sphere of utilising data informed practice for teaching and learning. A 0.2 - 0.3 FTE teaching load may accompany the position. Position Information to be reviewed in October 2025.

<p>As a key member of both the College Curriculum team and College Administration Team, the Head of ICT &amp; Data informed Practice shares responsibility for leadership of the College&#39;s Vision, Mission, School Improvement Processes and strategic leadership in ICT. The Head of ICT &amp; Data informed Practice contributes, in a significant way, to Catholic life, the development of a professional learning community and leadership of the learning culture of the College. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li>Develop, review and maintain the College ICT Strategic Plan in conjunction with the Manager of ICT;</li><li>Develop, review and maintain appropriate ICT policies and processes related to learning technologies and their use for the College community;</li><li>Oversee the effective training of Curriculum Coordinators and administration staff where appropriate, in College data systems relevant to learning and teaching;</li><li>Oversee the effective training of Campus Leadership and administration staff where appropriate, in data systems relevant to student learning and behaviour management;</li><li>Act as a conduit between the ICT technical Team and staff in the implementation of new or updated hardware and software;</li><li>Oversees with College Secretary and ICT Manager, the ICT induction for new staff;</li><li>Oversees with the ICT Manager new software roll-outs for the College;</li><li>Contribute to formation of College ICT Budget;</li><li>Identifying and acquiring hardware, software and network applications to support strategic planning of the College;</li><li>Ensuring the effective operation of all information and communication systems for the purposes of effective learning and teaching, inclusive of technology for accessibility.</li><li>Leadership in the  innovation, design, development, implementation and evaluation of the College’s use of learning technologies;</li><li>Analysis of CENT and OLSH data sets for and with the College Curriculum and Pastoral Care teams aligned with the strategic directions;</li><li>Contribute to positive professional dialogue among staff including sharing and celebrating      effective practice to further enhance student achievement;</li><li>Leadership in the use of data aligned with CENT and OLSH Strategic directions.</li></ol><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
