We seek to foster a commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion to live life in such a way as to bring honour and glory to God, in staff and students alike.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><ul><li>Work collaboratively with the team leader and educational leader in contributing to the ELC’s curriculum.</li><li>Nurture positive relationships with children, staff and families, promoting health, safety and wellbeing of children and developing positive and respectful relationships.</li><li>Contribute to children’s records of observations on children’s learning.</li><li>Planning, preparation and implementation of appropriate learning programs and environment for children and to guide professional practice based on Australian EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework).</li><li>Work within a legal and ethical framework, based on NQS and national regulations.</li><li>Establish and maintain collaborative and respectful relationships with colleagues and the wider community.</li><li>Attend staff meetings, taking an active part in critical reflections about professional practice, pedagogical strategies, ELC philosophy and curriculum, QIP, children’s learning and development, Planning and Assessment Cycle.</li></ul><p>For further information and to view the full position description for this role, please visit our website <a href="https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment" rel="nofollow">https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment</a>.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord.</li><li>Demonstrated passion for biblically-based Christian education.</li><li>Commitment to the Christian ethos of the College and the Statement of Faith.</li><li>A personal commitment to the Emmaus Vision, Mission and Values underpinning the delivery of a Christian based education to children.</li><li>Certificate III in Children’s Services approved by ACECQA or working towards an Early Childhood Education qualification.</li><li>Understanding and knowledge of the standards set by the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework.</li><li>Ability to cope effectively under pressure in an emergency or stressful situation.</li><li>Thorough understanding and implementation of a play-based curriculum.</li><li>Competent computer skills to manage documentation, learning resources and use of technology tools to support learning.</li><li>Behaviour management skills, reflecting restorative practices and the ability to develop and demonstrate positive behaviour strategies and support children’s learning.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively, and communicate clearly.</li><li>Right and ability to live and work in Australia.</li><li>Valid Working With Children Check, RRHAN-EC and Senior First Aid certification (incl.
