<p>&nbsp;</p><p>St Anthony’s Catholic School Riverside</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Teacher Assistant Disability Support: Ongoing 0.41 FTE<br>Commencing 3 February 2025</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>St Anthonys Catholic School Riverside is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced teacher assistants who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.</p><p>As a Teacher Assistant - Disability Support, you will play a pivotal role in creating an inclusive learning environment and empowering students with disabilities to reach their full potential. Your compassionate nature, patience, and commitment to inclusive education will be instrumental in supporting our diverse student population.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>1. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with disabilities.<br>2. Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet their unique needs.<br>3. Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, promoting social integration and peer acceptance.<br>4. Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.<br>5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and support provided.<br><br>&nbsp;</p><p>To be eligible applicants require:</p><ul><li>Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania)</li><li>Certificate III in Education Support and/or equivalent experience</li><li>A willingness to work in a team environment</li><li>Demonstrated genuine commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education</li></ul><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.</p><p>Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.</p><p>To download an Application Package click the attachments below.
