Wenona is seeking an experienced Mathematics teacher to inspire our young women with a commitment to high performance.

We expect our teachers to be committed to their own professional development and to want to make a contribution to the broader educational community.</p><p><strong>The Position</strong></p><ul><li>Teaching and aspiring to the standards articulated in the Wenona Effective Teaching Cycle in collaboration with our team of professional educators.</li><li>Providing pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of our students.</li><li>Facilitating and enriching student learning and engagement in the classroom and beyond.</li><li>Engaging in professional learning, including contributing to the broader education community.</li><li>Collaborating and contributing to a team and faculty of professional educators.</li><li>Utilising ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement beyond the classroom.</li></ul><p>We are seeking a teacher to fill a temporary, full-time position, commencing Term 1, 2025 until the end of Term 4 2025.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>To be successful in this role, you will be highly qualified, with experience in teaching Mathematics across Years 7-12. You will have a strong working knowledge of NESA curriculum, and HSC assessment practices and marking processes. Experience in teaching or willingness to teach Mathematics Extension will be highly regarded. You will be solutions-focused, flexible and have excellent communication skills with an ability to engage and communicate with various stakeholders.
