<p>&nbsp;</p><p>St James Catholic College, Cygnet, a Kindergarten - Year 10 co-educational College in the Huon Valley is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the position of:</p><p><strong>Utility/Maintenance Officer</strong><br><strong>Ongoing position</strong><br><strong>0.36 FTE / 2 days per week</strong><br><strong>42 weeks per year</strong></p><p>The school is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Utility Officer who is able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.</p><p>As the Utility/Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including general repairs, preventive maintenance, and groundskeeping duties. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will play a crucial role in preserving the school's infrastructure and creating a welcoming atmosphere.<br><br>Requirements:<br><br>- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.<br>- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, students, and contractors.<br>- Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations and procedures.<br>- A current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration or the ability to obtain one.<br><br>Join our dynamic team at St James Catholic College and contribute to creating a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming learning environment for our students.
