The school is co-educational from Years K to 12. Staff wellbeing is a focus, borne out by staff loyalty and satisfaction.</p><p><br />We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Deputy Head of Secondary to commence Term 1, 2025. </p><p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p><ul><li>The Deputy Head of Secondary will report directly to the Head of Secondary and work collaboratively as part of the Leadership Team.</li><li>The role will support the Head of Secondary primarily in daily organisational and operational aspects of the Secondary department.</li><li>Other aspects of the role may be negotiated to suit the particular strengths of the successful candidate.</li><li>The Deputy Head of Secondary would be expected to act as Head of Secondary when required.</li></ul><p><strong>ESSENTIAL CRITERIA</strong></p><ul><li>A committed Christian who will provide opportunities for students to develop an understanding of the Christian faith and grow up into Christ.</li><li>Commitment to the implementation of the School’s Vision and Values.</li><li>The ability to set an example to students, staff and parents in matters of faith and conduct.</li><li>Demonstrate a continually growing understanding of the place of education, and of teaching and learning within a Biblical Worldview.</li><li>Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.</li><li>Highly competent ICT skills, preferably in a Microsoft Windows environment.</li><li>Well-developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.</li></ul><p><strong>MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>A current Working With Children Check (or the ability to provide one if successful)</li><li>NESA accreditation</li><li>Active Christian faith and current church involvement</li></ul><p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong></p><p><strong>Please email your application to employment&#64;rpcs.nsw.edu.au</strong></p><p><strong>and include the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Completed application form</li><li>Cover letter evidencing your suitability and experience to fulfil the criteria above</li><li>Full CV including qualifications and work experience</li><li>A Minister’s reference from your current Protestant Christian church</li></ul><p>A Position Description is available for interested applicants by contacting <a href="mailto:lday&#64;rpcs.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">lday&#64;rpcs.nsw.edu.au</a>.</p><p><strong>Closing date: Friday 1 November 2024</strong></p>
