Two Part-Time Opportunities to provide enrichment to students who have been formally identified as gifted and talented.

<p>We are seeking 2 part-time (0.5FTE) Inclusive Practices Teachers – one in the Junior School (P-6) and the other in the Secondary School (7-12).  </p><p>The Inclusive Practices Teacher role is a unique opportunity for an experience teacher (minimum of 5 years) to work in individualised and personalised learning for students who present with diverse learning needs and require interventions and adjustments to enable them to flourish and succeed. A key part of this role will involve providing enrichment to students who have been formally identified as gifted and talented. </p><p>Involvement and participation in the pastoral care framework of the College, as well as the co-curricular program, are an integral part of the inclusive practices team function. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> </p><ul><li>Uphold and promote the Christian ethos of our Lutheran School, providing spiritual guidance to staff and students. </li><li>Adapt teaching by differentiating the written, delivered and assessed curriculum to enhance the learning opportunities and achievements of students </li><li>Ensure the accuracy and visibility of records relating to Inclusive Practices, including Student Support Plans, Individual Curriculum Plans and Intervention/Enrichment Programs. </li><li>Work collaboratively with Learning Assistants in Junior, Middle and Senior School ensuring the individual needs of students are met. </li><li>Support and build capacity of teachers to ensure reasonable adjustments and/or modifications are made to assessment task in accordance with students individual needs </li></ul><p><strong>Essential Experience</strong> </p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in supporting highly able students. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge, experience and study: <br />- Special Education (Graduate or Post-Graduate qualifications preferred) </li><li>Highly desirable: Post-Graduate qualification in Gifted Education and/or equivalent qualification in supporting highly able students. </li><li>You will be supported by a strong team Inclusive Practices Team and will be led by the Head of Inclusive Practices (P-12) </li></ul>
