This role will be coupled with leading another position of responsibility in the St Francis of Assisi community. The Deputy Principal role attracts a 2 year contract with an ongoing teaching position.&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants should demonstrate experience in the following:</p> <ul> <li>working collaboratively in a team with a shared approach to leadership</li> <li>an ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues</li> <li>a leader in their chosen area of expertise who ensures that the school delivers high quality and evidence based learning and teaching practices&nbsp;</li> <li>an ability to lead professional development in line with the school’s strategic plan and meets the diverse needs of students and staff</li> <li>developing a feedback culture through coaching and mentoring</li> <li>effective organisational, planning and administrative skills</li> <li>use of the research of the Science of Learning to implement effective change and growth for student learning</li> <li>an understanding of Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) and the implementation of this to create safe and effective teaching and learning environments</li> </ul> <p>St Francis of Assisi Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
