Kimberley College is seeking to appoint a Humanities and Essential English teacher for our Secondary School years 10-12. This is a 6-month contract position to commence on January 22nd, 2025

<p>Kimberley College is an independent, co-educational and non-denominational, Prep to Year 12 school nestled in a picturesque, semi-rural setting in Brisbane&#39;s Bayside.</p><p>Kimberley College is seeking to appoint a Humanities and Essential English teacher for our Secondary School years 10-12.</p><p>This is a 6-month contract position to commence on January 22nd, 2025</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will have high expectations for learning growth of all students, demonstrate a commitment to excellence in practice, use a range of pedagogies, provide timely feedback to students and can establish and maintain a positive and productive classroom-learning environment. </p><p>Essential criteria:</p><ul><li>Qualifications and demonstrated ability to teach to the specified requirements of the position</li><li>Demonstrated capacity in classroom management</li><li>Capacity to operate as a collaborative and team-oriented person in a professional work environment</li><li>Capacity and willingness to contribute to the welfare of students</li><li>Understanding of and commitment to the ethos of independent schooling</li><li>Capacity and willingness to contribute to the school’s co-curricular program</li><li>Capacity in the teaching of higher-order thinking</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process </strong><br /><br />Applications are to be made to the attention of Mrs. Denise Bould – Director of Teaching and Learning. </p><p>Applications are to include a cover letter and resume including the names and contact details of at least three professional referees. </p><p>** Only successful candidates will be contacted to progress further</p><p>Kimberley College is committed to sustaining an inclusive workplace for current and future employees.
