<p>St Catherine's Catholic College Singleton is seeking a Temporary Part-Time (0.4FTE)&nbsp;Teacher Librarian&nbsp;to join the team in 2025 for 12 months on Wednesdays and Fridays.<br><br>St Catherine's Catholic College draws its students from the Singleton local Government Area.<br>Singleton is approximately 73 kilometres from Newcastle, close to attractions such as historical villages of Morpeth and Wollombi and a 30minute drive from the beautiful vineyard area of the Hunter Valley.<br>The College is a co-educational school offering a comprehensive curriculum for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.<br>Nestled in the beautiful Hunter Valley, St Catherine’s has a proud history of excellence and achievements in academic, sporting and cultural pursuits and offers a seamless transition for your all students in their educational journey.<br>St Catherine’s is a Visible Wellbeing School focused on high expectations for all students.<br>We have a Gifted Education Program and provide differentiated curriculum for students with diverse learning needs, both intervention and extension.<br><br><br><br><a href="https://diocesemn.azurewebsites.net/media/5506/position_description_-_cso_-_teacher_librarian_-_secondary.pdf"><strong>POSITION DESCRIPTION</strong></a><br><br>The role of the Teacher Librarian is to<br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Provide engaging learning experiences for students<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Manage information and resources<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Support and drive contemporary teaching and learning ensuring that learning in the library is contemporary, inquiry based, rich in thinking and technology<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Work in collaboration with the school’s leadership team and with the CSO Digital Innovation and Learning team to act as a catalyst for change and build teacher capacity to improve student outcomes<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Through the use of resource management time:<br>&nbsp;</li><li>to manage the library, facilitate and develop the library space and resources, both physical and digital, supported by the School Officer/Library Assistant<br>&nbsp;</li><li>to collaborate with classroom teachers in developing contemporary teaching to ensure that curriculum is delivered more effectively for the benefit of students.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul>
